School Lunches

Chiddingstone school encourage healthy eating, an awareness of nutrition and healthy lifestyles. We contract Olive Dining to cook freshly prepared meals on site. They are a reputable catering company who provide lunches for a number of local primary and secondary schools. The food is handmade daily from the freshest ingredients without the use of any preservatives or additives. Their inspirations and ideas cater for our different cultures and food trends, coupled with traditional dining. They provide a wide range of options each day including the main option, vegetarian option and salad bar as well as catering for all allergies and dietary requirements.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children receive a free school meal, as part of the government's Universal Free School Meal programme, as do children who are eligible for Free School Meals in Key Stage 2. We encourage all children in Key Stage 2 to take up a hot school lunch option. The cost of a Key Stage 2 school lunch is £3.00 per day and parents are asked to pay for the whole term's lunches in advance via Arbor.
