Dear yellow bubble parents,
We have had such a wonderful term in our bubble. The children settled back into school life remarkably well and arrived every week full of joy and enthusiasm.
They have also worked very hard. They have had a different spelling sound each week and have practised their spellings everyday and completed a spelling test every Friday morning. We have also gone over full stops and capital letters, nouns, verbs and adjectives, plurals and prefixes, practised our handwriting, written poems and lots more! In maths we have looked at capacity, mass, space, doubling, tens and ones and patterns. They have been very busy bees!!
The class painted a big rainbow that has brightened up the classroom beautifully, made ladybirds and kept our tomato plants watered. We enjoyed holding our own mini sports day and making medals. We have also loved watching Mrs Braid's Acts of Worship on Wednesdays, Mrs Gold's Funky Fit on Thursdays and our whole school Acts of Worship with Mrs Streatfeild on Fridays.
This week, yellows have worked so hard to put on a performance for the green bubble of 'What the Ladybird Heard Next'. They should be really proud of themselves as it was fantastic.
Many thanks for your support all term and for navigating the drop and go system so well!
Have a lovely summer.
